Tightrope Trouble

Tightrope Trouble is a silent film inspired two-player game, made during Global Game Jam 2024.

Play either as Strongman Adolph or Funambulist Lina.  Adolph is trying to stop Lina from reaching the other side of the slackline by grabbing it and slingshoting her up into the air. Unfortunately for Lina, there is also a deadly spikeball on the slackline.  

Play with either 1 controller and 1 keyboard, or 2 controllers.

Controls:
Move: Joystick / A /D 

Jump -> Joystick up /  W

Grab Rope (as Adolph) -> Joystick down / Spacebar / S

Rotate (as Lina) -> Arrow key left / right

Mac users: If you get a message saying the game can't be opened, open Terminal and type the following command:

chmod -R 777

Add another space, then drag the Tightrope Trouble app into Terminal and hit enter. Here's a video explaining the same thing.
